A shocking video posted on TikTok shows a thief stealing a package from a FedEx courier seconds after the delivery was made.
A viral TikTok video captured a thief stealing a package from a FedEx courier seconds after the package was left outside the customer’s door. The incident took place in Columbus, Ohio, and the video was posted last Tuesday (June 4).
Moments after leaving the package at the customer’s door, a FedEx courier was robbed by a porch thief. In the video, the thief can be seen approaching from the street across the house.
The FedEx employee sets the package on the ground, and seconds later, it is stolen by the thief. “I was shocked. I mean, I thought maybe it was a joke at first”, said Kyle Dorsch, the homeowner, to ABC News.
Dorsch mentioned that this has been happening frequently in his area. “We work hard to get the things we have, and they just get taken away from us”, he lamented. Authorities have not yet found the thief.
TikTok users were incredulous at the thief’s audacity. “This is insane”, “That was pretty wild”, commented some of the profiles. “This courier is going to have something to tell when he gets back to the station”, another said in a more humorous tone.
